Echoes of 20th Century Walking Tour starts from Belgrade city center, at Republic Square where buildings of National Museum and National Theater are located. On the way we will pass Moscow Hotel – the oldest one in Belgrade, continuing to Nikola Pasic Square our local guides will explain you how Serbia was involved in the I and II World War. As we pass National Assembly, Old Palace and New Palace you will hear interesting stories about Serbian Royal Dynasties. On the way to the Temple of St. Sava we will visit St. Marko’s church where you will learn more about our culture, religion and traditions. Passing the ruins from the NATO bombing at Tasmajdan Park you will hear stories about the most turbulent period of our history in the 90s. On the way to Slavija Square we will make a stop in front of Nikola Tesla Museum where we will reveal you intriguing stories about this genius mind, finishing the tour at Temple of Saint Sava – the biggest orthodox church in Serbia.
